Description
The Company is a profitable producer and distributor of high quality crushed rock and buttress rock in various sizes. The Department of Natural Resources classifies the pit rock as Andesite an igneous material. The Company is permitted to produce a wide range of products. Market segments served are: Highway Contractors, Concrete and Asphalt Producers, Landscape Contractors, Homeowners, various Municipal, State and Federal Agencies. The raw land was purchased in 1999 with all required use permits for legal operation and authorization as a County, State and Federal vendor secured in 2002.
Facilities
The quarry is located north of Seattle and consists of 63 surface acres of which 28 acres are permitted with a maximum mine floor depth of 100'. This creates a conservative reserve of 4,000,000 (million) tons of product. The Real Estate is offered as part of the sale.
